High-Capacity Wi-Fi for Busy Indoor Networks

The Araknis AN-810-AP-I-AC is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access point designed for larger homes, offices, conference rooms, media spaces, and other indoor networks with many active wireless devices.

Part of the Araknis Networks family, it combines 4×4:4 Wave 2 AC wireless, MU-MIMO, Fast Roaming, VLAN support, and OvrC management in a low-profile ceiling or wall-mount design.

The 4×4:4 Wave 2 platform uses MU-MIMO to communicate with multiple compatible devices more efficiently than older single-user wireless designs. This makes the AN-810-AP-I-AC especially useful where laptops, phones, TVs, streaming devices, and other connected equipment are active at the same time.

Fast Roaming for Multi-AP Networks

Fast Roaming helps compatible wireless devices transition between access points as they move through a property. This makes the AN-810-AP-I-AC useful in larger spaces where multiple wireless access points are used to create broader coverage.

Roaming performance also depends on compatible client devices, AP placement, signal levels, and network configuration.

Two Gigabit Ethernet Ports

  • 1 × Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3at PoE+ input
  • 1 × Gigabit Ethernet data-only port
  • 1 × USB 2.0 power-only port
  • RJ45 auto-sensing and auto-negotiation

The second Gigabit Ethernet port can provide a convenient wired network connection near the access point, but it does not provide PoE output.

PoE+ or Optional DC Power

The access point can be powered through its primary Ethernet connection using IEEE 802.3at PoE+, allowing network data and power to travel over the same cable from a compatible PoE switch.
