Araknis Networks AN-810-AP-I-AC Indoor WiFi Access Point 2600Mbps
Product Details
High-Capacity Wi-Fi for Busy Indoor Networks
The Araknis AN-810-AP-I-AC is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access point designed for larger homes, offices, conference rooms, media spaces, and other indoor networks with many active wireless devices.
Part of the Araknis Networks family, it combines 4×4:4 Wave 2 AC wireless, MU-MIMO, Fast Roaming, VLAN support, and OvrC management in a low-profile ceiling or wall-mount design.
AC2600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5
- 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wave 2
- 4×4:4 MU-MIMO
- 2.4GHz PHY rate: up to 800Mbps
- 5GHz PHY rate: up to 1733Mbps
- AC2600 performance class
- Simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz operation
- 20, 40, and 80MHz channel widths
- Beamforming
- Auto Channel Selection
The AC2600 rating represents combined theoretical wireless PHY capacity, not guaranteed internet or real-world throughput. Actual performance depends on client capability, signal conditions, interference, channel width, network equipment, and internet service.
Designed for Higher Device Density
The 4×4:4 Wave 2 platform uses MU-MIMO to communicate with multiple compatible devices more efficiently than older single-user wireless designs. This makes the AN-810-AP-I-AC especially useful where laptops, phones, TVs, streaming devices, and other connected equipment are active at the same time.
Fast Roaming for Multi-AP Networks
Fast Roaming helps compatible wireless devices transition between access points as they move through a property. This makes the AN-810-AP-I-AC useful in larger spaces where multiple wireless access points are used to create broader coverage.
Roaming performance also depends on compatible client devices, AP placement, signal levels, and network configuration.
Two Gigabit Ethernet Ports
- 1 × Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3at PoE+ input
- 1 × Gigabit Ethernet data-only port
- 1 × USB 2.0 power-only port
- RJ45 auto-sensing and auto-negotiation
The second Gigabit Ethernet port can provide a convenient wired network connection near the access point, but it does not provide PoE output.
PoE+ or Optional DC Power
The access point can be powered through its primary Ethernet connection using IEEE 802.3at PoE+, allowing network data and power to travel over the same cable from a compatible PoE switch.
- 802.3at PoE+ input
- Alternative power: 12V DC, 2A
- Power-on consumption: approximately 7.3W
- Full load without USB: approximately 19.1W
- Full load with USB: approximately 21.9W
The optional 12V DC power supply is sold separately.
Multiple SSIDs and VLAN Support
- Up to 8 SSIDs per radio
- Guest network support
- IEEE 802.1Q VLAN support
- Wireless client isolation options
- Wi-Fi scheduling
- MAC address filtering
- Hidden SSID support
- WME 802.11e QoS support
Multiple SSIDs and VLANs can help separate guest Wi-Fi, smart-home devices, AV equipment, work devices, and other network traffic when used with a compatible router and managed network infrastructure.
Wireless Security
- WPA2-PSK
- WPA-Enterprise
- MAC address filtering
- Guest network support
WPA3 is not listed for this model. If WPA3 or Wi-Fi 6 is required, consider a newer model such as the Araknis AN-520-AP-I Wi-Fi 6 access point.
OvrC Remote Management
The AN-810-AP-I-AC is OvrC enabled for compatible cloud-based configuration, monitoring, firmware management, diagnostics, and multi-access-point Wi-Fi management.
The access point also supports local web management, SNMP, system logging, site survey tools, LED control, and scheduled automatic reboot.
Access Point or Repeater Mode
Araknis lists both Access Point and Repeater operating modes. For the most consistent performance and bandwidth, a wired Ethernet connection to the network is generally the preferred configuration.
Indoor Ceiling or Wall Mounting
- Indoor use only
- Low-profile circular housing
- Ceiling or wall mounting
- Embedded omnidirectional antennas
- Diffused status LED
- Diameter: 9.25 inches
- Height: 1.91 inches
- Weight: approximately 1.6 lb
- Operating temperature: 32°F to 122°F
- 2-year limited manufacturer warranty
Use appropriate CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cabling between the access point and network switch or router.
