The Pure Resonance Audio A115 is a 15-inch 2-way active PA loudspeaker with a built-in Class D amplifier rated at 600W RMS and 1200W peak. It combines high-output sound, Bluetooth streaming, DSP adjustment, microphone and instrument connectivity, and flexible mounting in one powered enclosure.

Bluetooth and TWS Stereo Pairing

Bluetooth 5.0 allows wireless audio streaming from a compatible phone, tablet, or computer. True Wireless Stereo allows two A115 speakers to pair wirelessly for left/right Bluetooth stereo playback.

TWS requires two compatible A115 speakers. It does not make the speaker battery powered and does not provide Wi-Fi, AirPlay, or network streaming.

Important Limitations

The A115 is not battery powered. It requires AC power during operation. No outdoor weather or IP rating is specified, so it should not be exposed to rain, sprinklers, or moisture.

Choose a passive PA speaker instead if you already have centralized amplification. Choose a smaller powered speaker when portability and compact size matter more than the output and low-frequency capability of a 15-inch design.

Is the Pure Resonance Audio A115 sold individually or as a pair?

It is sold individually. One A115 speaker, one power cord, and three M8 eyebolts are included.

Is the A115 powered or passive?

It is an active powered loudspeaker with a built-in 600W RMS Class D amplifier. No external power amplifier is required.

Does it have Bluetooth?

Yes. Bluetooth 5.0 is built in for wireless audio streaming from compatible phones, tablets, and computers.

What is True Wireless Stereo?

TWS allows two compatible A115 speakers to pair wirelessly for left and right Bluetooth stereo playback. Two A115 speakers are required.

Can I connect a microphone directly?

Yes. Channels 1 and 2 use XLR / 1/4-inch TRS combo inputs with selectable MIC, LINE, or INSTRUMENT modes.

Can I connect an instrument directly?

Yes. The two combo inputs include an instrument setting for compatible sources.

Does it play music from USB?

Yes. The built-in media section supports USB playback in addition to Bluetooth audio.

Does it need an external mixer?

No for simple setups. Microphones, instruments, RCA sources, Bluetooth, and USB can connect directly. A separate mixer may still be useful when you need more inputs or more advanced control.

What do the 600W and 1200W ratings mean?

The manufacturer rates the A115 at 600W RMS and 1200W peak. The 600W RMS figure represents the continuous amplifier rating, while 1200W represents short-duration peak capability.

Can it be used as a floor monitor?

Yes. The cabinet supports a 40-degree floor-monitor position.

Can it be mounted on a speaker stand?

Yes. It has a pole socket with adjustable 0° to 7.5° tilt.

Can it be suspended?
