Araknis AN-530-AP-I Wi-Fi 7 Indoor Access Point Tri-Band 10GbE

Product Details

Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 with 10GbE Backhaul

The Araknis AN-530-AP-I is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 indoor access point designed for modern homes, offices, AV systems, and other networks that need faster wireless performance and a multi-gig wired uplink.

Part of the Araknis Networks family, it combines 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz Wi-Fi, 320MHz channel support, WPA3 security, OvrC management, and a 10GbE Ethernet connection.

Tri-Band 2×2 Wi-Fi 7

  • Wi-Fi 7 / IEEE 802.11be
  • 2×2:2 radios on 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz
  • 2.4GHz peak PHY rate: 541.7Mbps
  • 5GHz peak PHY rate: 2722.2Mbps
  • 6GHz peak PHY rate: 5444.4Mbps
  • 20, 40, 80, 160, and 320MHz channel widths
  • OFDMA uplink and downlink
  • Beamforming, BSS Coloring, and Target Wake Time

The listed wireless speeds are theoretical PHY rates, not guaranteed internet throughput. Actual performance depends on client capability, channel width, interference, network design, and internet service.

10GbE Wired Uplink

  • 1 × 10GBASE-T RJ45 Ethernet port
  • PoE input through the same Ethernet connection
  • Up to 381 supported clients per access point
  • Up to 26 SSIDs per access point

A compatible multi-gig network switch is recommended when you want to take full advantage of the 10GbE backhaul.

PoE++ Required for Full Functionality

  • 802.3bt Class 6 PoE++: full functionality
  • 12V DC, 3.5A: full functionality
  • 802.3at Class 4 PoE+: limited functionality

This distinction is important. Standard PoE+ can power the access point, but Araknis limits radio operation under that power level. Use 802.3bt Class 6 PoE++ or the compatible DC supply when full Wi-Fi performance is required.

Wi-Fi Management and Security

  • WPA3 and WPA3-SAE
  • 802.11r/k/v roaming support
  • 802.1Q VLAN support per BSSID
  • Band Steering
  • Wireless client isolation
  • Rate limiting and Wi-Fi scheduling
  • Device fingerprinting through OvrC

OvrC also provides Wi-Fi Optimization and Proximity View tools for monitoring coverage and RF conditions.

Bridge Mode and Mixed Wi-Fi 6 Deployments

Araknis supports Wireless Bridge Mode for locations where Ethernet is not practical. The current manufacturer data sheet also states that the AN-530-AP-I is backward compatible with existing Araknis Wi-Fi 6 access points, allowing mixed Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 deployments.

If you are comparing generations, see Bear's Araknis AN-820-AP-I Wi-Fi 6 access point.

Indoor Installation

  • Ceiling mounting
  • Dimensions: 7.33 × 7.33 × 1.56 inches
  • Weight: approximately 2.03 lb
  • Operating temperature: 32°F to 122°F
  • 2-year limited manufacturer warranty

The optional Araknis in-ceiling mounting bracket and 12V DC power supply are sold separately.
